Anisa Niaz-Dickinson, Laura Gouldand Rosie Kight are running a short session on Zoom on video-conferencing at the ET. Details of how to join will be sent out shortly.
The London Central ET hopes that short contentious hearings such as pre-hearings on jurisdiction can be dealt with electronically within the next 6 weeks. An EJ specifically mentioned Zoom during a pre-hearing this week as the platform that EJs are lobbying the ET to introduce for such hearings. Although it is thought that Zoom won’t be suitable for multi-day hearings it is hoped that at least the shorter hearings can be kept running while in-person hearings are not taking place. The latest Presidential Guidance from the ET indicates that it is intended that in-person hearings will start again on 26 June 2020.
Anisa Niaz-Dickinson, Laura Gould and Rosie Kight will be running a short session on Zoom on 27 March 2020 at 1pm to share information on the conduct of pre-hearings during the first week of the ETs restricted hearings and to enable participants to try out the Zoom platform.
A link will be sent out before the webinar so watch this space.
